About me,

My passion lies in building brand resilience through strategically integrating social and environmental sustainability and product innovation into the DNA of a brand. Often companies see "sustainability" or "corporate social responsibility" as a luxury - something that's nice to have. I firmly believe, based on experience, that investing in this type of work is necessary to a company/brand's long term success. In the long run it costs less to be proactive than reactive. 

 

Some specifics:

  • Measuring, analyzing and presenting social and environmental impact

  • Identifying process improvements that support the people, planet and business

  • Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility communications

    • Writing and developing annual Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability reports from creating a strategy for communicating the story to various stakeholders to collecting and analyzing data

  • Experience in sustainable supply chain management of a number of different product categories and business models

  • Supply chain traceability

  • Embedding global standards, laws, policies, and regulations within the business (UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights, UN Sustainable Development Goals, California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, UK Modern Slavery Act)

  • Engaging with a number of different stakeholders from industry groups, global civil society and local civil society

  • Product innovation and alternatives
